Reach a person
Yen is small. Write to us and a person reads it.
An address is published here before Yen ships
Reporting a concern
If someone is using Yen to harass, threaten, or harm you, write to us with the word concern in the subject. Reports are read and acted on; an account used to abuse another person is removed.
Yen has no public surface — no feed, no discovery, no strangers. The only person who can reach you inside Yen is the partner you paired with, and you can end that at any time in Settings → Leave this room, which closes the room for both of you.
Deleting your account
In the app: Settings → Delete my account. This erases your account, your photographs, and your words. It cannot be undone, and it does not require writing to anyone.
If you cannot reach the app — a lost phone, a lost password — write to us from the email address on the account and ask for erasure.
Membership
Memberships are sold and billed by Apple. Manage or cancel one in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or through the Membership row in Yen’s own settings. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by Yen, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Notifications never carry your words
A notification from Yen tells you that something happened — a spark was answered, a note was left, a capsule was sealed — and never what it said. That is deliberate: a lock screen is read by whoever is holding the phone.
